South Korean subscription credit card Shinhan has introduced a new service that offers a 10 per cent discount at a range of franchises both online and offline.

Its Shinhan Card Shopping service covers such department stores such as AK, Galleria, Hyundai, Lotte and Shinsegae, as well as premium outlets run by Hyundai, Lotte and Shinsegae Simon.

Shoppers also receive the discount at such retail outlets as E-Mart, Homeplus, Lotte Mart, Mega Mart and Top Mart as well as warehouse-style shops like E-Mart Traders, Ikea and Lotte Vic Market.

The discount applies at home-shopping channels CJO Shopping and GS Home Shopping as well as social commerce companies Coupang and Ticket Monster, as well as online bookstores Aladdin, Bandi and Luni’s, Kyobo and Yes24.

The card also offers discounts at Angel-in-us, Starbucks, Caffe Bene, Coffee Bean and Twosome Place, as well as health-and-beauty chain Olive Young and discount chain Daiso.

Also included are gas stations, organic food online mall Market Curly and fresh-food delivery service Baemin Fresh.
