British celebrity couple David and Victoria Beckham’s eldest son Brooklyn has been appointed “global Bench-setter” for Philippine clothing brand Bench.

The appointment was announced by the brand’s founder Ben Chan, via Instagram.

Bench started as a small outlet for t-shirts in 1987, and now has stores across the Philippines, in China, and around Asia and the Pacific Islands as well as North America.

Brooklyn, 18, is a model who has previously endorsed such clothing brands Burberry and Pull&Bear.

Bench pioneered the use of celebrity endorsers, television and billboards to promote itself in the Philippines. It now has a women’s line, underwear, fragrances, housewares, snacks and lifestyle products.
