Haute horlogerie company Carl F Bucherer China has opened its fourth outlet in Shanghai.

The Swiss company’s new boutique in the heart of the city is understated with accents from its golden baroque-inspired logo as well as brand imagery that reflects the cosmopolitan nature of Lucerne, where the company was founded.

Also featured in the boutique’s decor is the brand’s first global ambassador, Chinese actress Li Bingbing, set against a backdrop of Lucerne.

To mark the opening, the 130-year-old watch brand hosted an exclusive gala dinner.

Carl F Bucherer has more than 35 outlets across China.
