1957 & Co moves Ta-Ke to Lee Gardens Two

Restaurant operator 1957 & Co is preparing to reopen its Japanese sushi restaurant concept, moving it upmarket into Lee Gardens Two.

Sushi Ta-Ke, which closed its doors in Causeway Bay’s Cubus on Valentine’s Day, will be rebranded simple Ta-Ke when it opens in larger premises in the luxury shopping centre late this month.

The eatery will feature a new interior design by the team of Kengo Kuma, Steve Leung and Tino Kwan. Inspired by traditional Japanese courtyards, the interior will feature bamboo, bricks and paper.

Besides Ta-Ke, 1957 & Co operates the Hong Kong branches of Thai restaurant Mango Tree, Paper Moon in Harbour City, An Nam, 10 Shanghai and Hokkaido.
