Starbucks opens giant Reserve store in Malaysia

Starbucks Malaysia has launched the its largest Starbucks Reserve store yet, located in a bustling community between Kota Damansara and Tropicana Indah.

Spanning 6000sqft, the cafe houses two bars, the main one offering core and seasonal beverages, and a second featuring six brewing methods, including pour-over, Chemex, siphon, Black Eagle espresso and Nitro Cold Brew.

According to the company, the Starbucks Reserve Tropicana Gardens store’s design resembles a coffee bean, featuring curved, floor-to-ceiling windows that connect to a garden and rapid transit station.

“Over the past five years, the Starbucks Reserve concept has brought about a catalyst of growth in the industry focusing on customer experience and passion for coffee in Malaysia,” said Sydney Quays, group CEO of Berjaya Food Berhad and MD of Starbucks Malaysia & Brunei.

Starbucks Reserve Tropicana Gardens also houses a 50-foot wide ‘Wall of Gratitude’, paying homage to the frontliners medical workers who have been fighting together against the Covid-19 pandemic.

“With the opening of Starbucks Reserve Tropicana Gardens, customers can expect the same human connection and immersive coffee experience that will continue to inspire coffee passion to the community,” Quays added.
