7-Eleven Hong Kong opens its 1000th store

Convenience store chain 7-Eleven has opened its 1000th Hong Kong store, on Des Voeux Road in Central, 40 years since it set foot in the territory.

To mark the event, 7-Eleven Hong Kong has launched an exhibition space called ‘Journey of 1000 Stores’, showcasing the brand’s history in the city since the launch of its first store in Happy Valley.

“Evolving alongside the people of Hong Kong, 7-Eleven has constantly innovated to live up to changing consumer expectations,” the company said in a statement.

The showcase also features a 3D photo wall where visitors can take photos and check in. The brand has run an AR Instant Win Game, a lucky draw with more than HKD10 million worth of prizes.

Besides the exhibition, 7-Eleven Hong Kong has also rolled out a series of promotions and offers across its stores to celebrate the event.
