Hong Kong supermarket chain, Uny, has unveiled the design of its Metro City Plaza Central store, featuring new gourmet brands from Japan and South Korea. 

The new store also marks its third outpost of the Japanese supermarket in Hong Kong after Uny Lok Fy and Uny Yuen Long. Spanning 34,000sqft, Metro City Plaza Central store features seasonal specialties including fresh ingredients flown in from Japan and a Wine & Sake corner. The store is home to the biggest-in-line Japanese pet supplies corner with 1000 products. 

Uny Tseung Kwan O houses a K Food Town where customers can find a variety of Korean delicatessens, gourmet brands. Meanwhile, artisanal bakery Goso Goso and Fifty Fifty Cafe offers a selection of toasts, pastries, bread and cakes with authentic Japanese and Korean ingredients.

Uny Tseung Kwan O is also the first to feature a dry-aged beef service counter, where customers can choose their favourite cuts and ageing period. 

Besides gourmet specialties, Uny also brings together an array of lifestyle goods and grocery brands from Japan and Korea.
