Basic fashion label Musinsa Standard is expanding its footprint by launching a new flagship store in Gangnam, South Korea.

The store provides a wide range of products including menswear, womenswear and kidswear. Furthermore, Musinsa says it is focusing on eco-friendly products with its “Green Line”, which is sourced from recycled PET bottles.

To attract customers’ attention, the fashion retailer installed a large 34-meter-long media wall on the first and basement floors. There is an ‘LG Standby Me’ display in the live fitting room that can be viewed by mirroring a mobile phone, helping customers easily create short-form content like Instagram posts and YouTube short videos by adjusting the background colour.

Musinsa also has a “Mutan Pickup” desk, which is an O2O (Online to Offline) service that allows customers to buy something online and then pick it up at an offline store. The brand reports this will be expanded to improve customer convenience.

“With Mutan Pickup that combines online and offline and a more advanced live fitting room, Musinsa Standard Gangnam will provide customers with a new and enjoyable shopping experience,” said a spokesperson for the retailer.

“We expect to increase satisfaction by introducing products that meet various customer needs.”

Musinsa introduced its global website “Musinsa Global Store” early this month, which helps its expansion into Japan and Southeast Asia.
