Love, Bonito launches a flagship in Hong Kong

Omnichannel fashion label Love, Bonito has opened its first Hong Kong flagship store at 30 Queen’s Road Central – and its first brick-and-mortar store outside Southeast Asia.

The launch of the 2000sqft store is part of Love, Bonito’s strategy to expand its international footprint, following the appointment of Christina Wang as head of Hong Kong and Taiwan earlier this year.

Similar to its other international stores, the flagship features an electronic queue system so that customers can go about browsing while waiting for their turn to use the fitting room. The Hong Kong store also offers in-store returns.

“Hong Kong as an international city is one of our key target markets,” said Wang. “The team is also looking to explore more experiential hub opportunities with the aim of developing a stronger direct-to-consumer omnichannel presence.”

Love, Bonito made its debut in Hong Kong in 2019 with a pop-up store before rolling out an e-commerce site last year.

“We have been experiencing exponential year-on-year growth in Hong Kong over the past three years,” said Dione Song, CEO at Love, Bonito. “We have a slew of exciting plans underway to further build our presence and empower and inspire more women in Hong Kong and across all of our major markets.”
