UK handmade cosmetic retailer Lush has expanded into Vietnam with its first store to open in Ho Chi Minh City’s CBD tomorrow (June 3) under a partnership with local distributor Maison Retail Management International (MRMI).

The Vietnam debut also includes the launch of the brand’s online store in the market and will be followed by the opening of Lush’s second store in Hanoi’s Lotte Center next month.

Lush Vietnam’s first store will take over an 82sqm space on the B1 floor of the Vincom shopping centre, offering the brand’s full selection of products, ranging from bath and shower, skincare, haircare and body care, and makeup to gifts. The store design follows the brand’s signature layout in other markets, with black-painted walls and a large counter highlighted by colourful bath booms.

The launch comes after MRMI opened the first brick-and-mortar store of the South Korean streetwear brand Nerdy in Vietnam earlier this year in the same shopping centre. The company also made its international debut in January, opening the first MLB store at Aeon Mall Mean Chey in Cambodia.

The 20-year-old Vietnamese retail operator has a network of more than 120 stores across the country.

Founded by Mark Constantine and Liz Weir in 1995, Lush currently has 900 stores across 51 countries.
