Chinese collectible toy business Pop Mart has opened its first physical store in the US, located at the American Dream Mall, following its first pop-up store in the country last year. 

“We are thrilled to debut the country’s first permanent Pop Mart store,” shared Bryan Gaus, senior VP and GM of American Dream. 

“This marks a momentous chapter in Pop Mart’s US expansion, and aligns with our commitment to delivering fresh and captivating retail experiences to our guests and tourists who visit the centre.”

Pop Mart US features a variety of collections such as Molly, Skullpanda, The Monsters, and Dimoo. Customers can also buy a “blind box,” which contains an array of items and cannot be opened until the box is purchased.   

Pop Mart currently operates in more than 23 countries, with 350 plus physical stores and over 2000 Roboshops (cashless vending machines) worldwide. The company also made its first retail foray into Thailand this month.
