Taiwanese milk tea brand Milksha has closed all of its stores and withdrawn from the Singapore market before the new year.

The brand announced the closure on its official Facebook account on December 31, urging consumers to join them for “one last cup of memories”.

“Brewing our final cups of joy! Today marks our last operating day at our last outlet in Singapore (Tampines One #01-38),” the statement said.

“As we bid farewell, we invite you to join us for one last cup of memories or simply drop by to reminisce with us. Happy New Year!”

Milksha, founded in 2007, debuted in Singapore in 2019 at Suntec City Mall and Funan Mall. The brand has more than 200 locations in Taiwan and other markets including Australia, Canada, China, and Japan.

Jollibee acquired 51 per cent of Milksha for US$12.8 million in 2021, aiming to accelerate the brand’s international expansion.
