Luxury fashion house Maison Kitsune has opened its first combined cafe and retail store in Malaysia. 

Located at The Exchange TRX in Kuala Lumpur, the store features a minimal ceramic facade with the Maison’s deconstructed herringbone pattern. 

The floor-to-ceiling windows highlight the craftsmanship of the oak wood claustra, which showcases both the brand’s seasonal and permanent collections.

The cafe has oak wood and brushed stainless steel counters, with the focal point a bar, which aims to create a cohesive and pleasant atmosphere across the space.

The Exchange TRX, Malaysia’s new retail precinct, fully opened on November 29, becoming Lendlease’s largest integrated development in Asia.

With a 1.3 million sqft of net lettable space and 400 retailers, the property has a 95 per cent occupancy rate. Gentle Monster, Maison Kitsune, Marimekko, and Drunk Elephant cosmetic brand are among retailers located at The Exchange TRX.
