Japanese retailer Muji has teamed up with Reebok to launch a new shoe line: Men’s Court Sneakers and Women’s Court Sneakers.
The new range is part of an initiative of Muji’s parent Ryohin Keikaku to expand its sneaker lineup with products made from materials other than cotton, with the aim of creating longer-lasting standard shoes.
Based on Reebok’s Club C 85 model, the Court Sneakers feature Reebok’s DMX Microbubble technology, which enhances comfort with air bubbles inside the cup sole.
Moreover, the shoes also aim to address common issues, such as the inside of the heel to prevent slipping and a tab for easy wearing.
Muji x Reebok sneakers will be available in black and white for an RRP of US$61.50 (JPY 8990) at Muji stores and online.
