Fine chocolatier Venchi has opened its first store in the Philippines, following its expansion into Malaysia last year. 

Located in Central Square Mall in Bonifacio Global City, the store is operated in collaboration with local distributor SSI Group. The brand also intends to open a second location at The Podium in Ortigas Centre. 

“Recognised all over for our penchant for sweets, we believe that the local market and the Filipinos will embrace the authentic Italian lifestyle brand’s dedicated mastery to creating high-quality chocolates and gelato crafted for your well-being,” said Anton T Huang, president and CEO of SSI Group. 

Customers can access a variety of Venchi products, including hazelnut-based chocolate and gelato, best-selling Chocoviar, and low-sugar options.  

Venchi, founded in Italy more than 145 years ago, now operates 180 locations globally. The Philippines debut is part of the company’s strategy to expand in Asia, where it already has stores in Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Shanghai.
