Boundless Matro has launched a shopping concept in Suzhou that connects global brands with the Chinese market through immersive cross-cultural retail.

Located next to the Humble Administrator’s Garden, the Boundless Matro Boutique Village spans 25,000sqm across 22 restored red-brick warehouses dating back to the 1950s.

The village features a series of international pavilions representing markets such as the UK, Australia, Italy, and Japan, each offering a curated mix of niche brands.

Customers can also visit the food and beverage area, which offers a mix of international and local operators, including Michelin-starred Japanese cuisine by Chef Noriyoshi Nomura, Snow Peak Coffee from Japan, Mediterranean offerings from Mercata Meditereno, Fruttini Gelato from Italy, and local concepts such as Suzhou Garden Restaurant and a snack market, alongside Australia’s Stitch Coffee.

In addition, the village includes an International Live Streaming Space Station, where select content creators showcase products in real time.

“Boundless Matro is more than a commercial entity; it is a composite ecosystem where Eastern and Western cultures meet,” said Isabella Liu, international brands development representative, Matro Group.
