Thailand’s Central Pattana will open a new shopping centre, Central Park, in Bangkok this September as part of a major mixed-use development.
Spanning 130,000sqm, the project includes retail space, a rooftop park, and a premium office tower, designed to integrate commercial, lifestyle, and environmental elements in a central urban setting.
The shopping centre will feature a selection of Thai and international fashion brands, and is expected to serve both domestic shoppers and international visitors.
A key feature of the development is an 11,200sqm rooftop park, described as the largest in Thailand, and an elevated green space which will offer views over the Bangkok skyline.
Located in between the intersection of Silom and Rama, Central Park Bangkok is said to draw inspiration from Central Park in New York and Hyde Park in London.
The project also includes a 43-storey office tower adjacent to Lumpini Park. The building is targeting LEED Gold, Well Platinum, and WiredScore Gold certifications.
Directly connected to the shopping centre, the offices are designed to support a mixed-use environment for urban professionals.
“Positioned to become a world-class retail destination in the heart of Bangkok, this flagship project aims to elevate Thailand’s retail landscape onto the global stage,” said the developer.
