Louis Vuitton opens new Vietnam store

French fashion house Louis Vuitton has added another store in Vietnam.

The store located at Trang Tien Plaza in Hanoi is the brand’s second store in the capital and the third in the country.

The new store is the first store to offer customisation of bags through the Haute Maroquinerie ‘Made to Order’ salon.

“The opening of the third store in Vietnam at Trang Tien Plaza testifies our confidence in the potential of this country, in a development that attracts both locals and tourists from around the world,” said Jean-Baptiste Debains, president of Louis Vuitton Asia Pacific.

Louis Vuitton opened its first store in Vietnam in 1997 at the Metropole Hotel in Hanoi, followed by a second store in downtown Ho Chi Minh City in 2007.

Debains said Louis Vuitton has no plan to open further stores for now.
