Filipino casual dining chain Yellow Cab Pizza is expanding to the UAE.

Two restaurants will open this year.

Its parent company Pancake House has partnered with Hospitality Consultancy and Investment Group (HCIG) to take the brand to the UAE market. The partners target 15 restaurants within the first five years.

Established in 2001, Yellow Cab Pizza is a quick and casual dining concept specialising in New York-style pizzas. To appeal to a broader customer base, the restaurant offers other dishes such as pastas, appetizers and desserts.

“This agreement means that Yellow Cab Pizza is growing even further and venturing into new markets. We believe that the brand we’re offering is going to be a great hit in the UAE and would open doors for it to enter other Middle Eastern market,” said Pancake House international business development manager Richard Backstrom.

Yellow Cab Pizza has more than 110 restaurants around the world.
