Lego lands in Suntec

The first Lego Certified Store in Singapore has opened at Suntec City Mall.

Managed by Bricks World, the oldest and largest Lego retailer in Singapore, the store is a partnership with the Danish-owned Lego Group. The 79sqm store takes over the existing premises of Bricks World at Tower 3 of the mall.

More certified stores will follow in the city state.

Dan Luo, Lego Singapore MD, said opening the Lego Certified Store enhances the whole Lego experience for the customers and fans here in Singapore.

Lego Certified Stores are built to strict guidelines specified by Lego, whose designers flew from Denmark to provide the certification.

Features of the retail experience include displays of fully assembled models and a Pick-a-Brick wall, which allows customers to select bricks a la carte by filling small ($19.90) and big cups (S$34.90) to the brim.

Lines exclusive to Singapore will be sold from the new shop – and collectors editions will also be released simultaneously with other Lego certified stores in cities in Europe and the US.
