Foot Locker Asia has opened two more stores this week: a Hong Kong flagship store, marking its debut in the city, and its second Singapore outlet of three planned.
The three-story flagship in Kowloon delivers what the US retailer describes as an “engaging retail experience” in the heart of the popular Tsim Sha Tsui shopping precinct.
“As home to one of the most vibrant sneaker cultures in the world, Hong Kong is a natural fit for Foot Locker to showcase our latest retail concept,” said Lew Kimble EVP & CEO Foot Locker International.
“With the new Tsim Sha Tsui store, we set out to design a space that celebrates the city’s creative community and inspires Hong Kong sneaker enthusiasts.”
The first Foot Locker Asia store in Hong Kong combines premium product and elevated in-store presentations, as well as experiential retail features and events.
A House of Hoops concept shop celebrates basketball culture and offering a premium selection of sneakers and apparel from Nike and Jordan. Customers can also expect elevated product storytelling from both Adidas and Puma.
The store boasts the broadest selection of Nike Air Max Plus available in the city.
Second Singapore store
Meanwhile, Foot Locker Asia’s new Singapore store opened in the Jem mall (imaged above), combining an extensive multi-brand product range, in-store presentations, and enhanced customer experiences. It is the second of three Foot Locker stores planned for the city this year – the first having launched in Century Square last month and a third at Suntec City scheduled to open next month.
Foot Locker operates in 25 countries worldwide with more than 3270 stores.
Kimble said of the Singapore store launch: “By offering the best selection of global brands and products under one roof, Foot Locker will be the destination for the local sneaker community.”
