Cartier Hong Kong has opened its expanded boutique in Tsim Sha Tsui, the store now spanning 982sqm over three floors.
Designed by Bruno Moinard, the store’s exterior features a facade made from onyx, calacata and bronze, inspired by roof tiles used on houses and bringing what the brand describes as “a touch of femininity”.
The interior of the new Cartier Hong Kong boutique includes references to Hong Kong, most prominent being an artwork featuring a panther overlooking Victoria Harbour from The Peak. There are also bamboo motifs engraved in the walls of the staircase and chandeliers with bamboo reference.
The store opened with a pre-launch of a miniature version of Cartier’s signature Just Un Clou bracelet.
