Singaporean home decor brand Hooga has launched its first Cambodian store at the Aeon Mall in Mean Chey.
Hooga offers a selection of homewares and home decor, including mattresses, sheets, pillows & bolsters, quilts, bath linens, bath accessories, candles and furniture.
According to local sources, the brand focuses on Phnom Penh and will establish two more locations there this year. It also intends to grow into other Cambodian provinces.
Hooga also intends to expand into additional South East Asian markets, including Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines.
Hooga, based on the Danish art of cosiness, currently has 25 locations in Malaysia and Singapore. The brand made its debut in Singapore in 2018 and then extended into Malaysia.
Cambodia has welcomed a number of multinational companies to the market since the beginning of this year, including Paul Smith, the British fashion brand, and Korean streetwear brand MLB.
