London-based fashion brand Kiko Kostadinov has opened its first store in Japan, the brand’s first foray into brick-and-mortar retail since launching its first collection in 2016.

The store, located in the heart of Tokyo‘s Shibuya District, has two separate components and combines a minimalist look with visual art.

The first component, dubbed ‘The Salon’, was developed by Yusuke Seki and his design team. The company said the artist installations in the second area break the mould and offer fresh perspectives on Kiko Kostadinov’s offers as well as novel interpretations of the connection between art and fashion.

This new site features Kiko Kostadinov apparel, purses, accessories, footwear lines, and special projects for both menswear and womenswear.

Kiko Kostadinov is a menswear designer based in London. He received his BA Menswear Design and MA Fashion Design degrees from Central Saint Martins in 2016.

His work, which emphasises inventive pattern cutting, attention to detail, and intricate garment construction, seeks to challenge and contribute to modern menswear aesthetics.
