The well-known cafe, deli and grocery chain The Providore has ceased all operations in Singapore as the company undergoes liquidation.

The Providore first opened in Singapore in 2013 and expanded to six locations, all of which closed yesterday.

“Dear valued customers, thank you for your long-term support and kindness. All outlets of The Providore Singapore will cease operations from March 9,” a company statement on social media read.

“Partings come, but flavour and memories last forever. We look forward to meeting you again in another form in the future.”

Notices in some stores are directing any enquiries to ClearView Associates, a liquidation company in Singapore.

The business was sold to investors SingFire Capital and Vino Vibe in April 2025, before Vino Vibe took sole control of the company. Founder Robert Collick ceded control of the business during that transaction.
